After a mostly just gray and dull early winter, this year has been welcomed by a lot of snow here in Hamburg, which has been a nice change of scenery! It has also been one of the most snow-heavy days in my recent memory (although my memory is quite terrible when it comes to any kind of weather events~), so who knows when I will see so much snow again!
Anyways, it was nice to walk through my familiar environment with a whole new look, especially to be a bit more inspired again for some photos. Although there is the danger of just being happy to see snow and photographing it as a special event, when it might look quite dull (or, well, just white) to others.
Plus, some birds! They haven’t been too excited about the weather (very understandable) but manage surprisingly well to run through the snow or over the ice! (A few seeds have been provided as a little extra motivation and nourishment for these cold, dire times!)
